The Gardner museum is a total work of art! Isabella’s legacy of installing inspiration to Boston’s community is still prevalent. Christian Restrepo and I co-curated and crested garments for the nasturtium party celebrating the life of Bill Cunningham. The looks were all created as a response to the museum and the soul of Isabella herself.
Inspired by the looms that created the beautiful tapestries in the Raphael Room and the love of music in the Gardner, I wanted to combine weaving and music to create a live performance of weaving creating music—physically and auditory.
